How do I get started with your WordPress maintenance services?
It's simple! Just send me a message with your website's URL and a list of the plugins in use. I'll review your requirements and provide you with a custom quote. Once you're ready to proceed, you can place your order, and I'll start maintaining your website right away.
How do you charge for new images in updates?
I supply all stock images and custom graphics. I use premium, licensed stock images from Adobe, Deposit Photos, and Envato Elements as well as Unsplash at no additional charge. If you require a particular image that must be purchased elsewhere, you will need to purchase the images and send to me.
What information do you need to provide content topic recommendations?
To provide tailored content topic ideas, I'll need to understand your niche, target audience, and your website's goals. Share this information with me, and I'll suggest topics that resonate with your audience and align with your objectives.
Does this maintenance include new design?
I can redesign a header or hero image as part of the package. I can edit areas of the website. If you need major design services, please select one of my other gigs as they are all website design.
Can I add a new page to my website as part of maintenance?
Yes, if you select that option with your package, you may add as many pages as you like to an existing website. The fee is $99 per page.
What types of websites do you maintain?
I regularly update your WordPress core, plugins, and themes to ensure they're always running smoothly. These updates are typically performed on a weekly basis to keep your site secure and up-to-date.
Can I choose the specific day for my weekly backups?
Absolutely! I can schedule the weekly data backups on a day that suits you best. Just let me know your preference when you place your order.
What happens if my website experiences downtime or errors?
Don't worry! I'm here to promptly address any issues that may arise. I'll work diligently to minimize downtime and correct errors as quickly as possible.
Do you charge for plugins?
I do not charge for regular plugin updates and set up. New plugins will be charged according to package details. Premium and subscription plugins and licenses must be purchased from the developer or company who made them. I am happy to install and set up as part of the maintenance, within scope.
Do you write new copy or content?
Yes, this can be part of your maintenance and will be counted towards the time you have booked.
How soon will you complete my updates?
I will complete updates within the time frame of the package you selected. The countdown begins when you have supplied the new content or written the instructions for updates. Most will be completed within three days. Some packages may take a little longer – it depends on the number of updates.
Do you also make content changes?
Yes! content changes are included in all three packages. (Note: adding additional features or pages isn't included in all packages)
